NP Tay is preparing to welcome her twins! Online Services still available
I joined the Fibroids Virtual Care Squad offered by Health In Her Hue. During one of our sessions, we discussed finding a provider who not only was well-versed in the care of fibroids, but also understood the unique issues facing Black womxn in the U.S. I wasn't fully aware of the struggle to find a Black womxn Gynecologist in certain areas of the country, as I am located in the DMV area where there is an abundance to choose from! Hence, The Gynius Bar was born. I took care to create a platform that was inclusive to not only Black women, but also Transgender men.
Our directory is dedicated to connecting Black Womxn across the United States with culturally competent GYN specialists.
To create a safe, comprehensive, and easily accessible directory connecting Black Womxn to culturally competent Black Womxn Gynecologists.
We aim to provide a platform that addresses the unique healthcare needs of Black Womxn dealing with conditions like fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, and reproductive health concerns.
Our primary focus is to facilitate connections that prioritize inclusive, equitable care, and understanding of the lived experiences of Black Womxn in America.
We envision a future where every Black Womxn seeking specialized reproductive healthcare can effortlessly find and access GYN specialists who not only offer expert medical care, but also understand and respect the diverse cultural, societal, and personal aspects of their lives. Our goal is to expand this directory beyond GYNs to encompass various healthcare specialties, becoming a comprehensive resource catering to the diverse healthcare needs of the Black community.
